The UAE Ministry of Defence has officially announced a significant success for the nation's air defence systems, which recently blocked a coordinated, large-scale assault from Iran.

On March 14th, the military successfully engaged nine ballistic missiles and 33 UAVs (drones) that were launched toward the Emirates.

This specific event is part of a much larger, ongoing pattern of Iranian aggression. According to official reports, the UAE has had to intercept a staggering total of 294 missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,600 drones since these hostilities first began.

The ministry emphasized that the UAE Armed Forces are maintaining a state of high alert to protect the country's sovereignty and stability

While the advanced technology was successful in neutralizing the majority of the incoming threats, authorities confirmed that these sustained attacks have sadly resulted in fatalities and injuries among the diverse population of the UAE.

Specifically, six people from various backgrounds, including Emirati, Pakistani, and Nepali citizens, have lost their lives, while 141 others suffered injuries.

In response to these violations, the UAE has promised to firmly confront any future attempts to weaken state security.
