Former Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel has caused a stir by claiming Arsenal is "cheating" their way to the Premier League title.

Despite the Gunners being seven points ahead of Manchester City, the Chelsea legend insists their reliance on corner kicks makes them "unworthy" champions.

Mikel argues that Arsenal's habit of crowding the goalkeeper during corners is "illegal" and wants the league to ban the tactic immediately.

The midfielder complained that even though manager Mikel Arteta has spent nearly a billion dollars, the team has stopped playing beautiful football to "win ugly."

Mikel believes star players like Saka, Odegaard, and Eze are no longer showing their skills because the team only focuses on set-pieces.

He claims Arsenal fans are only happy because they are winning, but says they would hate the "boring" style of play if the team were losing.
