The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has publicly challenged Senate Minority Leader Abba Moro to be honest about his peace plans for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

Speaking at a meeting in Abuja on Wednesday night, Wike warned that he has no interest in leaders who "negotiate at night" but act differently during the day.

Wike told Abba Moro to bring "concrete proposals" for peace instead of making secret moves behind the scenes.

Wike dismissed claims that he is a spy for the APC, noting that many people who accused him have actually joined the APC, while he remains in the PDP.

The Minister rejected the idea of forming a new team to lead the party, insisting that the current National Convention plans are already finalized and paid for.

While Wike says his group is open to making peace, he emphasized that it must be "genuine" and done from a position of strength.
