The highly-rated Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has reassured fans that he is not panicking after his recent contract termination with Chippa United.
Now that the 29-year-old is a free agent, there have been concerns about how this period of "no club status" might affect his position in the Nigerian national team.
However, Nwabali insists that he is in a positive headspace and ready to sign with any team that offers a welcoming environment.
He mentioned that he doesn't have a specific country in mind and is open to playing wherever his skills are appreciated.
Addressing the various transfer rumors, Nwabali noted that seeing his name linked to other teams is actually a sign of his goalkeeping quality.
While he has been associated with a move to Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa and several Libyan clubs, he clarified that nothing is official until fans see him wearing a new jersey.
He views the speculation as a compliment to his relevance in African football. For now, he is staying fit and waiting for the right professional football offer to come along so he can get back to doing what he does best on the pitch.
