Senator Seriake Dickson, the former Governor of Bayelsa State, has openly criticized the economic situation currently plaguing Nigeria.
Speaking at an event in Abuja, the lawmaker stated that the incumbent administration is facing a crisis of public trust because "Nigerians are not only angry, they are also hungry."
He argued that the level of dissatisfaction across the nation has created a massive demand for a genuine political change that puts the needs of the people first.
Dickson made these remarks while unveiling the new membership registration portal for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
He described the party as a fresh, crisis-free movement dedicated to national development.
By launching this e-membership platform, Dickson aims to provide a modern tool for citizens both at home and in the diaspora to participate in the political process.
He likened the NDC to "Noah's Ark," inviting those who are tired of the current status quo to join the platform early to help steer the country toward a better future.
