President Bola Tinubu has approved the posting of 31 career diplomats and 34 non-career ambassadors to Nigeria’s foreign missions.
This move is designed to strengthen Nigeria’s voice on the world stage, with key appointments made to the United Nations, Germany, and Israel.
Former Minister Femi Fani-Kayode is headed to Germany, while popular commentator Reno Omokri has been assigned to Mexico.
Nkechi Linda Ufochukwu has been posted to Israel, a critical partner in Nigeria’s security and technology sectors.
Notable leaders like Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (China) and Aminu Dalhatu (UK) will manage Nigeria's interests in the world's largest economies.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will soon begin an induction program to prepare these envoys for their new roles.
