Political Sins Don't Lead to Hell" — Adams Oshiomhole

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has told politicians that their mistakes in the world of politics are not enough to send them to hellfire

Speaking in Benin City on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the former Edo Governor argued that political friction is a normal part of life on Earth.

Oshiomhole was speaking at the Edo State APC congress after the newly elected chairman, Jarret Tenebe, asked for forgiveness from anyone he might have offended while serving in his previous role.

Oshiomhole responded by saying that everyone on Earth is a sinner. He believes that when a politician asks for forgiveness as Tenebe did, the "sins" should be forgotten immediately.

According to the Senator, political disagreements are usually just temporary moments that "dissolve" over time and don't carry the weight of eternal punishment.

He told the new chairman that he is now "brand new" and should move forward without worrying about past political mistakes.
