The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has officially dismissed claims that the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, forged his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.
Following an intensive investigation, the police confirmed that the document is 100% authentic and was legally issued by the NYSC.
Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin stated that the NYSC authorities were contacted directly and confirmed they issued the certificate to the Minister.
The probe found zero evidence of "falsification or unlawful production" of the document.
This news follows a similar clearance from WAEC, which earlier verified the Minister's 1999 secondary school results as genuine.
The police report aims to end recent public protests and social media rumors that questioned the Minister's educational qualifications.
