The Office of Benjamin Netanyahu has officially rejected widespread online claims suggesting the Prime Minister was killed or replaced.

The speculation erupted after a press conference video was posted to his X (formerly Twitter) account discussing the volatile Middle East tensions

Viewers began circulating theories that the footage was a product of artificial intelligence, pointing to a specific moment where Netanyahu raised his hand.

Some commentators claimed the video showed a "sixth finger," a common error found in AI-generated imagery.

Beyond the "sixth finger" theory, skeptics pointed to other video inconsistencies, such as the movement of curtains behind the leader while the Israeli flags remained perfectly still.

These details led to a surge in doctored video accusations and questions about the Prime Minister’s actual whereabouts

However, speaking to the Anadolu Agency, officials clarified that the footage is genuine and that Netanyahu is unharmed and continuing his duties.

They stressed that the rumors are entirely baseless and represent a dangerous spread of misinformation during a time of high regional conflict.
