Peter Obi, former Labour Party presidential candidate, has urged Nigerians to pray for politicians, saying they're the root cause of the country's challenges. "We are the problem of Nigeria.
No other person," he stated, emphasizing that Nigeria is rich in resources but poorly governed.
Obi made this appeal at the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Oyo State in Ibadan, praising Governor Seyi Makinde's service to the people. He prayed that Oyo State's next 50 years would be exemplary and blessed Makinde's leadership.
"I request Nigerians to remember us politicians in prayers. God should touch our hearts to use public money for public good," Obi said, highlighting the need for leaders to prioritize the people's welfare.
