Yemi Osinbajo, former Vice President of Nigeria, has shared a heartfelt message recalling the helicopter crash that occurred seven years ago in Kabba, Kogi State.
In a post on his Instagram account, Osinbajo expressed gratitude to God for sparing the lives of everyone on board, stating that all 12 occupants survived without a single scratch.
"Ubangiji (Sovereign God), Yesu (Jesus), Nabaka godiya (I give You thanks), Sarkin duniya (The King of all the Earth), Nagode (Thank You)," Osinbajo wrote, thanking God for His mercy and grace.
His wife, Dolapo Osinbajo, also took to Instagram to commemorate the incident, writing, "Remembering the helicopter crash of 2nd February 2019... I give praise and thanks to God for His great deliverance."
The crash occurred on February 2, 2019, while Osinbajo was on a campaign tour for the 2019 general elections.
The helicopter, an AgustaWestland AW139, operated by Caverton Helicopters, crash-landed, but all occupants escaped unhurt.
