Governor Umo Eno Visits President Tinubu Following Move to APC (Photos)

 

The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, met with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday. 

This visit is his first major meeting with the President since he officially left the PDP to join the ruling APC.

Governor Eno used the visit to update the President on the current state of affairs and development projects happening in Akwa Ibom.

The Governor explained that he joined the APC out of respect for President Tinubu and a desire to align his state with the Federal Government to bring more progress to his people.

He clarified that his move to the APC was a strategic choice made from a "position of strength" after consulting with leaders across his state.

He also noted that moving to the APC allows him to better support the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, who is also from Akwa Ibom.
