Nollywood actress and government aide Eniola Badmus has fired back at a viral social media post accusing her of being a "private pimp." The actress described the claims as a desperate attempt to get attention and warned that she will be taking legal action against the person who started the rumor.
A user on X (formerly Twitter) claimed that Badmus uses her connections to link young women with politicians and movie executives for exploitation. The post even suggested this was how she secured her political appointment.
Badmus called the allegations completely false. She responded by saying that "authorities will step in" and sent a clear message that she does not forgive those who spread lies about her character.
This isn't her first battle with online rumors. In 2023, she successfully sued a TikToker for making similar claims. That person was convicted of cyberbullying and had to pay a fine to avoid prison.
Badmus currently serves as a Special Adviser to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and she maintains that her professional success is based on hard work, not the "network" described in the rumors.
