APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda has made it clear that the ruling party won't be helping the opposition grow. In an interview on Trust TV, Yilwatda dismissed claims of a one-party state, saying the opposition should focus on mobilizing support rather than giving TV interviews .

Yilwatda emphasized that he's been visiting states to mobilize people behind the scenes, adding, "It's not our duty to help our enemies grow. I can't feed my enemy. It's not my duty. So they should labour, they should go to the streets."

He shared his busy schedule, saying, "Yesterday, I came back from Taraba. Tomorrow, I'm going to Katsina. I'm not receiving a governor. I'm going for mobilization. I'm engaging people. I'm talking to people."

According to Yilwatda, most of the APC's work happens behind the scenes, and what's seen on TV is just the outcome. His comments come as more governors join the APC.
