The political heat is rising as APC chieftain Ayekooto Akindele accuses Nasir El-Rufai of creating a "national nuisance" to escape the law.
The former governor is currently under investigation by several agencies, including the EFCC and the DSS.
Right before his expected meeting with investigators on Monday, El-Rufai demanded answers from the NSA about the alleged importation of a dangerous chemical.
Akindele took to social media to say that El-Rufai is simply "wasting time" with hypocrisy because he knows he might be heading to jail soon.
The chieftain also reminded the public that El-Rufai had previously admitted to hacking on live TV, which might lead to even more legal trials.
Akindele's message was blunt: if the security agencies want to take you into custody, they will. He told the former governor to trust in God’s timing instead of acting out of fear.
