Pastor Dies in Ilorin Fire Tragedy

 

A tragic fire incident in Ilorin, Kwara State, has claimed the life of 73-year-old Pastor Awolola. He reportedly ignited undergrowth on his land, but the fire rapidly spread, trapping him inside.

Despite attempts to escape, the flames overwhelmed him, and he was found dead. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, preventing further damage.

The Kwara State Fire Service is warning citizens against undergrowth burning, expressing sadness over the loss. The body has been handed over to the community chairman.
