Army Rescues Baby, Nabs 7 in ₦3m Trafficking Bust

The Nigerian Army's 13 Brigade, working with NAPTIP, has arrested seven suspected human traffickers in Calabar, Cross River State. The suspects were caught negotiating to sell a day-old baby boy for ₦3 million at Glorious Amazing Grace Hospital.

Those arrested include six from Cross River State and one from Akwa Ibom State. The baby has been rescued and is under care. The suspects will face legal action.

The Army is committed to fighting human trafficking and urges public support in providing information to security agencies.
