Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has cleared the air on her supposed rivalry with the equally famous Genevieve Nnaji.
For years, fans have speculated that the two movie stars were no longer on speaking terms because they are rarely seen together in public.
However, during a recent sit-down, the actress confirmed that their bond remains strong and urged supporters not to worry about any non-existent tensions.
When asked directly if they were still friends, she responded emphatically, saying, “We are good.”
Omotola explained that the idea of a purported feud was largely created by fans who enjoy pitching successful women against each other.
She compared the situation to the way people often invent rivalries between popular Nigerian singers.
While she admitted they don't necessarily have to be "best friends" who are together every day, she stressed that they talk normally behind the scenes.
Additionally, the thespian took a moment to name Chidi Mokeme as her favorite Nollywood actor, praising his talent and professional consistency both on and off the screen.
