The Nigerian Army has reported a series of major wins following a 24-hour nationwide crackdown on criminals and terrorists.
During these coordinated raids, troops killed three terrorists, arrested 20 suspects, and seized a large amount of illegal weapons, drugs, and stolen oil.
In Zamfara and Borno, soldiers killed two terrorists and fought off ISWAP fighters. They also stopped a gunrunner in Kaduna with five homemade rifles and safely removed a roadside bomb (IED).
Operations in states like Abia, Rivers, and Delta led to the arrest of kidnappers and drug dealers. Soldiers recovered various firearms, motorcycles, and even "charms" used by criminals.
In the Niger Delta, the Army destroyed two illegal oil refineries and recovered over 45,000 liters of stolen crude oil, hitting oil thieves where it hurts.
Beyond fighting, troops rescued several kidnapped victims in Kogi State and recovered nearly 60 stolen sheep in Sokoto to return them to their rightful owners.
