Nollywood star and gospel minister Eucharia Anunobi has shared heartbreaking new details about the 2017 death of her son, Raymond Ekwu.
Speaking on The Honest Bunch Podcast, she alleged that a massive medical error by a student doctor worsened her son’s condition while he was battling sickle cell complications.
Eucharia claimed that instead of giving her son a life-saving blood transfusion, a student doctor mistakenly performed a blood extraction.
She revealed that three pints of blood were taken from her son at a time when he was already extremely weak and fighting for his life.
On top of the medical trauma, the actress shared that she handled all the hospital bills and financial responsibilities alone, with no support from her ex-husband.
Her son, Raymond, had been managing sickle cell disease for years before passing away at the age of 15.
