I Was Abandoned" — How Wike Saved Oshiomhole After He Lost His APC Job

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has shared a touching story about how he was treated after being removed as the National Chairman of the APC

Speaking in Edo State on Monday, the former governor revealed that many of his colleagues were too afraid to visit him, fearing they would be accused of "anti-party" activities.

Oshiomhole explained that once he lost his powerful position, he became very lonely. Even members of his own party avoided him to protect their own careers.

While others stayed away, Nyesom Wike (who was a PDP Governor at the time) reached out. Wike invited him to Port Harcourt to launch a major flyover project.

Oshiomhole said that Wike’s support during his "low time" gave him the strength to move on. Wike even gave him the highest state honor in Rivers State.

In a lighthearted moment, Oshiomhole joked that even though Wike admitted to "celebrating" his removal initially, he was still the only person who stood by him when it mattered most.
