Davido has broken his silence after losing at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
The Nigerian singer's collaboration with Omah Lay, "With You", was nominated in the Best African Music Performance category, but ultimately lost out to South African star Tyla's "Push 2 Start".
Davido took to Instagram to share photos from the event, captioning them "Oluwa Dey My Side" - a phrase that translates to "God is on my side". The singer's response suggests he's staying positive despite the setback.
The Best African Music Performance category featured several Nigerian artistes, including Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, and Wizkid, but none took home the prize.
Tyla's win marks her second time receiving the award, after first winning in 2024 with "Water".
Tyla, a 24-year-old South African singer-songwriter, is known for blending amapiano, pop, and R&B sounds.
