Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, has basically said, “Tracking bandits these days is like chasing ghosts with smartphones.”
According to him, these criminals aren’t using ordinary phones — they’ve upgraded! They hide behind fancy tech, encrypted apps, and secret channels that make it super hard for security agents to catch them.
Tijani added that even though the government is beefing up its digital tools and surveillance systems, the bad guys always seem one step ahead — like they’re playing hide-and-seek with invisible cloaks.
He made it clear that what’s really needed now is teamwork — security agencies, telecom companies, and tech experts joining forces like the Avengers to outsmart these tech-savvy troublemakers.
