Renowned Nigerian singer Aituaje Vivian Ebele Iruobe, famously known as Waje, recently shared an intimate look into her past struggles with body positivity

Speaking on the Her Next Chapter podcast, the 44-year-old star confessed that she dealt with significant insecurity over her physique during her younger years.

Specifically, Waje admitted that in her 20s, she felt so uncomfortable with being heavy at the top that she would wear multiple bras simultaneously to hide her natural endowment.

She explained that this was a deeply personal battle with self-image that started even before she became a mother.

However, the "I Wish" crooner highlighted a beautiful transformation in her self-esteem.

She credited the journey of becoming a mother and the support of close friends like rapper M.I and professional dancer Kaffy for helping her find her voice.

These mentors played a crucial role in boosting her self-confidence and helping her develop a thick skin to negative comments

Today, Waje stands as a beacon of self-love, proving that with time and the right support system, anyone can move past their physical insecurities to embrace their true selves.
