An elderly traditional ruler and the father of former Ebonyi Deputy Governor Dr. Kelechi Igwe has been kidnapped by armed men.
Ezeogo Francis Igwe was intercepted on Sunday morning in his Ndufu-Alike community while driving to a church service.
Witnesses say gunmen on a motorcycle double-crossed the victim’s car, forced him out at gunpoint, and whisked him away to an unknown location.
