Super Eagles star Victor Boniface has officially returned to the training ground, bringing a wave of excitement to football fans.
On Tuesday, the 25-year-old striker shared a video on social media showing him back on his feet and working out, confirming he is finally moving past a difficult series of injuries.
Boniface underwent major knee surgery in Austria back in January to fix a painful injury. He spent several months recovering under the care of top specialists.
The striker admitted that the past year was mentally draining, revealing he often had to "fake a smile" while dealing with the pain of missing big games.
Sadly, these injuries caused him to miss the 2025 AFCON and several important matches for his club, Werder Bremen.
Before his injury, he was in great form with 8 goals in 15 games. Fans are now hoping he returns to that scoring streak very soon.
