🔴 RIVERS ASSEMBLY STALLS! 😤 Plenary Session Fails to Resume After Impeachment Drama 🏛️

 

The Rivers State House of Assembly, led by Speaker Martin Amaewhule, failed to resume plenary on Jan 15, 2026, a week after adjourning impeachment proceedings against Gov Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Prof Ngozi Odu, are on hold 🤔.

The House had planned to continue proceedings, but no resumption date's been given 🕰️. 

Some Assembly members are appealing for the impeachment to be dropped, citing appeals from state leaders 🤝.
