Abubakar Malami's offices and residences in Abuja and Kebbi state were raided by EFCC operatives, allegedly over his reference to the Justice Ayo Salami report. Malami claims the raid is intimidation and retaliation after he called for EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede's recusal from the probe due to alleged bias.
The EFCC reportedly targeted documents related to Chapter 9 of the Salami report, which allegedly implicates senior EFCC officials, including Olukoyede. Malami's office has warned that any harm to him or his personnel will be attributed to the EFCC's conduct.
